#SeafoodSunday: Steamed Clams

This Seafood Sunday, we were inspired by Foodie Crush’s simple tutorial for steamed clams. When you hear “buttery steamed clams,” you may immediately think this falls outside of your recipe wheelhouse, but don’t be fooled, it’s as easy as 1-2-3! Clams can be served as an elegant appetizer, or paired with bread, salad or pasta as a filling dinner option. They cook quickly (in one pot!), and pair well with many other ingredients. This steamed clam tutorial in particular is easy to follow. It’s so simple, in fact, that it may become a fast family favorite.

    That is a nice picture. What type of clams are you using? Where I’m from we have both hard shell and soft-shell clams, we usually use the soft shells for steamers and fried clams.
