August Meal Plan

Happy August, seafoodies! Whether you’re gearing up for back to school or just embracing the last few weeks of summer, we think you’ll appreciate the theme of this month’s meal plan: simplicity. Each of the recipes we’ve chosen is proof that cooking a delicious seafood meal is easier than ever before.

Start your month off by pulling out your Instant Pot to make our flavorful, cheesy take on a classic Shrimp & Grits. Everyone’s favorite kitchen appliance streamlines this recipe by containing the ingredients (and the mess) in one pot. Our rule of thumb for the kitchen: The less we have to clean, the better.

If you’re looking for a lighter lunchtime option, you’ll love Wholesome Yum’s Salmon Superfood Salad! Not only is this recipe packed with heart-healthy ingredients, it calls for a bagged salad mix, making preparation a breeze so you can jump straight into enjoying a delicious lunch. Adding in premade ingredients is a great way to simplify your time in the kitchen.

Our go-to for dinner this month would have to be Kitchen Tested’s Pan-Seared Tilapia with Grilled Watermelon & Eggplant Salad and Avocado Sauce. The plating is worthy of a magazine spread, but don’t let that intimidate you. A handy squeeze bottle is all you need to recreate this gorgeous dish in your kitchen.

Keep things simple this month with our August list of seafood favorites.
