Hello, Seafoodies!
One of the primary reasons the Dish on Fish blog was created five years ago (Happy Birthday to us!) was to help encourage you to prepare healthy and delicious seafood dishes in your own kitchen. In honor of National Pescatarian Month, we are introducing the second edition of our free e-cookbook, Everyday Seafood Recipes. The 2021 edition includes 65 recipes in a collection of protein-packed breakfasts, lunches, midday snacks and dinners! All of these easy seafood recipes are healthy and simple to prepare.
We packed it with mouth-watering photos and sprinkled in fun videos to whet your appetite for getting in the kitchen. It’s designed for sharing with friends and family (or click through it with your little Seafoodies to involve them in the meal planning). We’ve focused on fish and shellfish species readily available from your fishmonger or retailer in the fresh case, freezer and shelf-stable aisle, making it a breeze to get the two to three servings per week seafood recommended by the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
Where to start? If you’re taking our challenge to “Go Pescatarian,” bookmark our top 12 Dish on Fish recipes for 2021. For starters, we suggest powering up your day with a Turmeric Smoked Salmon Breakfast Bowl or Breakfast Shrimp Burrito. Looking for a midday nosh? We know the Fresh Vietnamese Spring Rolls or Crunchy Air Fryer Fish Sticks will hit the spot! For dinner, we recommend Mustard-Glazed Salmon with Cauliflower Mash and Spinach. Or, fire up the grill and enjoy some Baja-Style Fish Tacos!
We are so excited for you to try our new recipes and explore the entire e-cookbook. Download it, share the link with family and friends and have FUN cooking seafood. We’d love to hear what recipes you try this week!
