#Seafood123: Building Blocks

When it comes to child development, ABCs and 123s are just the beginning! Omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA are essential for optimal baby development and health. This is particularly true for children’s brain and eye health, because half of baby’s brain and more than half of baby’s retina are comprised of DHA. To ensure proper infant development, pregnant women should eat 2 to 3 servings of seafood per week, and should continue to do so after baby is born.
