Happy December, friends!
Are you ready for the December Meal Plan? Because it is a smorgasbord of scrumptious holiday seafood recipes that are must-haves for your December menus. We love these dishes because they’re a great way to treat your friends and loved ones to something special without spending a ton of time in the kitchen.
Seafood shines bright in every course of this holiday meal plan. For breakfast and brunch, there’s a shrimp frittata and smoked salmon pizza. Clams topped with crumbled bacon and a festive mix of shrimp, scallops, and calamari take snacks and apps up a notch.
When it’s time for lunch, whip up a lighter Lobster Mac & Cheese, a delicious (and healthy!) Cod and Corn Chowder and a full-flavored Oyster Stew. And for dinner, we have a one-pan Salmon dish with bright green asparagus, a rich and cheesy Wild Alaska Pollock and a grilled Swordfish with a lemony, basil butter.
We know the holidays can be a bit more indulgent than the rest of the year, so we packed our December meal plan with several nutritious dishes. As always, you can count on seafood to help get you your recommended amounts of omega-3s, protein, and key nutrients, like selenium, B vitamins, vitamin D and iron.
These impressive seafood additions to your holiday menu are sure to make your friends and loved ones’ taste buds sing “fa-la-la-la-yum!”
