Hey, seafood lovers! Every month we will feature one guest contributor as part of the “Dishing with…” series on Dish on Fish. These contributors will be fellow fish fanatics who have everything from tips and tricks to recipes and interesting tidbits about the protein we all know and love.
As the first installment of the series, we’re excited to showcase Julie who pens the blog Julie’s Eats & Treats. As a seafood savvy wife and mom, Julie is giving us a glimpse into her kitchen by sharing her favorite dishes, tips to encourage children to eat more seafood, and more. Enjoy!

What is your favorite seafood dish to make at home or order at a restaurant?
Any type of grilled shrimp dish is a winner in my book!
Any words of wisdom for parents who have picky eaters? How do you get your kid(s) to eat seafood?

What is your go-to seafood meal for busy nights?
My go-to seafood dish is definitely my Light Italian Shrimp & Rice Skillet! It’s full of flavor, ready in 30 minutes, and my family loves it. You can’t beat that!
What’s next on your “must-make” seafood list?
I really want to try crab stuffed salmon. I mean, can you go wrong with that combo?
