Leftovers. Those delicious morsels tucked in the fridge for another meal. Since we often cook extra salmon, so we don’t have to fight over the leftovers, we are sharing some ways to reinvent salmon on today’s blog.
Keep in mind that cooked salmon will keep in the fridge for 3 days, so if you’re planning on cooking extra salmon on Sunday to use during the week, you’ll want to finish it up by Wednesday.
If you bring the salmon home from a restaurant, you’ll want to stay on the safe side and use it up within 2 days, since you weren’t involved in the prep work. Rule of thumb: If something looks (or smells) fishy, throw it out.
So, whether you’re a meal prep master looking for new ways to incorporate salmon into your weekly meal plan (and check out our two recommended base cooking methods below) or you are just looking to use up that salmon you ordered out, we’ve found 6 fantastic recipes that’ll make your leftovers taste new and exciting again!
