June Meal Plan: Your Summer Seafood Grilling Guide

Happy June, Seafoodies!

It might not be an official holiday, but the first grilling day of the season is always cause for celebration! Is it even really summer until there is seafood on the grill?

Whether you’re planning a Father’s Day barbecue or just jonesing for a delectable dish with the perfect char, check out this month’s Meal Plan, AKA Summer Seafood Grilling Guide. From salmon to shellfish, we’ve got a boat full of ideas to get your grill on… for lunch, dinner and even breakfast!!

Let’s start with the breakfast club. Our seafood-fueled breakfast recipes will inspire you to get up and go. First up: an eye-opener of a shrimp and grits dish. Pro tip: Cook in-shell to amp up the flavor. Next, gorgeous grilled salmon with avocado toast, an omega-3s-rich treat that’s as satisfying as it is eye-candy. And how about a breakfast trout recipe for the campstove? it’s wonderful on its own, or you can serve it with eggs and hash browns.

At lunchtime, we’re loving laid-back grilling recipes that let family and guests customize their own meals. Everyone is sure to enjoy options like shrimp and fish tacos, cedar plank salmon gyros and cobia sliders. Just set up a build-your-own station near the grill so you can dine al fresco!

And when it comes to dinner, boldly flavored dishes take center stage. Lemon-kissed shrimp skewers and lobster tails with garlic butter will be a hit with shellfish lovers. Fish fans will flip for mahi mahi with homemade aioli and fresh sardines with rosemary.

All these recipes are nutrient-packed, quick and easy to prepare and a breeze to clean up. With such a high effort-to-reward ratio, grilling is a carefree way to get our recommended 2 to 3 servings of seafood a week this summer. Let’s get grilling!
